I think we can all now agree, this wasn't a tremendous feat.

NO fan of Finebaum's but he was saying at the time of the hire that "Leach was toxic to many administrators". This was not a comment influenced by the 2 losses so far. His issues with administrators at Tech were not confined to that hail storm his alleged poor treatment of one player created & his subsequent law suit for back wages. As best I remember the Sports Illustrated article at the time, he was in constant battles with Tech's administrators, specifically his own boss, the A.D. Over facilities, faculty interference, funding for his staff, the self perceived poor PR product not done for the program, etc. He was also constantly complaining to the league office...a lot. But with all that he inherited with the program & all the virus related problems, he deserves more than 3 games.

Paul's right. MSU has looked awful on offense the last two weeks.

This shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone, it’s been a running joke after every big win he has had for years

The OL coach said he was waiting for who was going to be the next HC. Leach is not a good fit for OL coach since he doesn't run the ball very much. That is the main reason he accepted the job at Missouri. If the hired was one that mixes up the run and throw then he probably would have stayed. Drinkwitz and the OL coach have similar offense schemes.

MSU has maybe one legit WR, ofc this is going to be a transition year for them into Leach's offense

No, finebaum does not get to dick ride us. I am sure Arkansas fans feel the same way

I just don't think his offense will work in the SEC and I never have. Our defenses aren't as good these days, but the level of play is still very high. Leech has more talent than ever, but I think he'll struggle more at MSU than anywhere he's been. This isn't the same SEC that Leech experienced at Kentucky and he didn't exactly kill it there, either.

Why is LSU still rank in the top 25? MSU is not rank in the top 25 anymore?

Finebalm is notorious for hating Mississippi State, and it didn't matter who we hired, Paul was going to label the guy.
