Lee Smith was kicked off the team at Tennessee before he played a game. That's why he went to Marshall.

Alcoa? Are you fricking serious? They've won the state championship about 7 times in a row
Alcoa at one point was Single A and made the jump to AA at some point. They are great every year. Fulmer was recruiting him but not hard enough for Cobb and/or recruiting him to a position Cobb didn't want to play. I think he was wanting to be a QB but Fulmer only wanted him as a WR. Funny how UK recruiting him as a QB but eventually landed as a WR. It's been a while, and I could be wrong.

Alcoa has been unseated in 3A by a team with zero black players (CAK).

Luckily Dooley has established a pipeline.

I'm just trying to figure out how Randy Moss was booted from Fla St
Seems like they could have made an exception

Ernie played for FSU and has played a bunch of years in the NFL. Not as good as Willis, but pretty good LB.

Ernie wanted to come to Auburn except he demanded to wear #34 and we told him to frick off.

Do you know why? To honor his serial rapist, attempted murdering, present stealing half brother. True story.

Yeah, I remembered that it was to honor his brother.

I had just forgotten that his brother stole Christmas presents.

Wasn't Daniel Brooks from Memphis? He was a big time recruit. All the hype. Seems like he got kicked off of TN's team. I'm sure some of these high profile recruits will burn out from this years class too. Just hope it isn't the 4-6 five stars OM is getting...

Daniel Brooks was the #1 player in the state of TN and the 4th ranked LB nationally (31st overall). Patrick Willis was a no name 2 star, and Tennessee isn't the only school that "missed on him." His best offer outside Ole Miss was Memphis. Danielle Brooks was kicked off the team after being arrested for fighting several times.

Gotta love after the fact recruiting
Every program has tough decisions to make
It's hard to project work ethic and development of players
Nine times out of ten, the bigger guy in high school will get the benefit of doubt
Good for Willis, able to go somewhere else and make a name for himself
Happens every year
It would be hard to argue the talent that was coming out of Knoxville around that time

You made me think your post was a poem, but the are no rhymes. None!

Haha, my brother in law said every player had no idea what was going through Cut's head. He said Cut was VERY VERY loyal to Seniors.
