Kid is a talent but he is also a punk. Up in someone's face after every play and then gets beat and he's cramping. Play the game and shut your mouth.
Good point. Most corners and WRs are the quite reserved type that don't talk much.

It's not their fault we suck

and you'll take the less skilled less talented player.
Long term, yes I would be. But Nakamura plays the position better than PP#7, so I'd take him for a season.
PP#7 would be the better of the 2 long term because his athleticism blows any CBs out of the water...

Or it makes him overrated. Not saying he isn't a really good CB, but not what he's made out to be by LSU fans...
you either had unrealistic expectations or you're simply dumb.
if he didn't give up a catch til the last game of the season, you'd show up and say he was overrated because he gave up a catch.

Blame your fan base for claiming he is the best thing since sliced bread.

No I wouldn't, but that won't happen either...

giving up a couple 4 or 5 yard plays doesn't make you overrated.

So if you're a corner or WR it's OK to be a punk?

Maybe you have nothing else to do but drool over old game film, but I have neither the time nor the patience to go re-watch a game from last year in which AJ Green racked up 99 yards on a defensive backfield Peterson was a part of to contribute to this pissing match. Maybe Peterson did play Green well, but in all honesty I don't give a shite. I was at the game last year. "Dominated" Green was not.
(P.S. I think Peterson is the best corner in the country, so take your "tard" comments and direct them at the real flamers in this thread)

Plus a big play that set up UNC in the redzone.
He's a really really good CB, but that is nothing new in College Football...

I'm not downgrading PP at all, it's just that he's human like the rest of the players on the field. He can be thrown on, he can be beat...

he's still very arguably the best DB in the nation and now with the return game incorporated in, he's by far the most valuable DB in the game.

I agree on both points.

kid's a freak. he makes mistakes just like everyone else.
if someone actually said he never gets beate, they should get beaten.

I don't deny that the guy is a great CB, but he cramps up way too often. Especially later in the halves (which is understandable) but that's when you need a CORNER THE MOST! That's when they are throwing the ball.
Maybe they are using him too much...
I don't know.

How about 260 yards on ST in addition to his full time D job? How many Gump starters will be taking this on every Sat night?

Has he ever heard of pickle juice? That shite works.

I would like see if anybody on the board do what he just did tonite.

Why can't y'all see that nobody is trashing the kid's talent and skill?
He is a beast.
Most of us just can't understand why he can't last a game without cramping up. It's troubling.
But LSU fans do make it easy for other fans to jump on him for any mistake by making him the second coming.
