Yeah Saban sure can turn it on and off in a split second. But I dont think he ever lets the refs get to him so much it takes him out of his play to play routine
He is calm and collected, while being able to explode on a player at the drop of a hat, then return to cool calm collected like it never happend

Heard today, Fla was going for it on 4th and 1...Weis has the qb in SHOTGUN to run a qb sneak.. ..and of course he didn't make it...

Dye had to have been fricking plastered. 
Either that or something pissed him off. He never really did like the Gators. He ripped Charlie Pell several times back in the early 80's and hated Spurrier. He talked a lot of shite about Spurrier when Spurrier first started at UF.
That is until the ball coach hung 48 on an undefeated 7th ranked AU team in the swamp in 1990. Was the most points any team ever scored on a Pat Dye team.
Maybe Dye is still pissed about that 1990 game?

I understand that, but Charlie does not seem to be an in your face, coach em up type of Coach. If all he is going to do is sit down on his rolling cooler, there is no reason to have him on the sideline. Let him go to the press box. His sitting down could have a negative effect on team morale. I certainly wouldn't want a coach who did not have a broken leg just sitting down the whole game.

Have you never seen the cameras cut to him while the D is on the field? He is sitting on his cooler, with the QB's right next to him. Who ever will be starting the next series is directly to his side so he can talk to them. When the Offense is on the field, he gets up and watches them.
Seriously, those of y'all who have no idea of what goes on on the sideline, but just want to get in your fat jokes need to give it a rest. He had the surgery for it, it almost killed him, he's still trying to do what he loves. I'd bet any one of y'all could slip into a coma for two weeks, almost die, and collect SSI or unemployment for the rest of your lives.

Nice try but I'm one of the few people who believe that you shouldn't frick with someone because of how they look, or what they believe. Probably because I spent most of my life AS the target (not overweight, was about 30 lbs underweight for about 15 years)

This Classic will go down as one of the better ones on Finebaum up there with his Brokeback Moutain classics along with the guy years ago that called in from prison.
