We are going to be TN state champions in 2014

Ole Miss-TN should be a close game. That was a toss up to me.
Really believe TN will come storming back next year.
FL should revert to the mean, GA loses Murray (new DC is the big ?), SC without Shaw but has adequate QB replacement, Vandy should decline because of many reasons. I see a very competitive, hard fought race for the Eastern crown.

Vandy loses 8 starters on defense and we have a week and a half to prepare for them and we lose to them? Strange

I think I like your predictions better than any I've seen so far.
That said, I think we're a real dark horse next year. Lot's of questions but lot's of talent too. Still we have a brutal schedule which doesn't help.

I agree. Changed it to 1-7 for Vandy.

That will be TN's breakout win that takes them to ATL.

Florida plays to their talent level and beats Bama or LSU next year if they stay healthy and are half arse at QB

Meh. We're likely going to end up with a Top 20 recruiting class for 2014 and half of them are early enrollees already. We had some good young talent at key offensive positions but had no QB last season. Add 4* Nebraska transfer Braylon Heard now eligible, Bud Dupree and Za'Darius Smith returning on the line, and the potential for a pretty solid QB in Drew Barker we could snag a couple SEC wins. Really all hinges on that QB position. I don't see that as a decline at all.

VOLS marching to ATL behind 40 true frosh strong.

Maybe decline is not the right word, Belle.
I could see the line at 1 for KY conference wins next year. Better QB play is an absolute minimum. 15 pts/gm in conf won't cut it.
Do you think your offense could avg 21+ pts per conference game? If so, then I would be more bullish.

5-3 in the SEC might keep Muschamp his job if he beats Georgia. I just don't know if he could survive that start though. He would be 4-3, 2-3 after the missouri loss and he might just get canned.
Figure a loss to FSU and 8-4 seems about right, unless the OC hire is a slam dunk.
The talent is there, especially on defense, for a better finish, but I won't believe it until I see it. Things were too much of a cluster frick last season for me to be too optimistic.

NO chance. None.

The scheme itself? Sure. Neal Brown was able to put points on the board at TTech as OC. That said, it takes the jimmies and joes. They're getting there but it'll take some time.

I don't get why people think Tennessee is going to be good next year. They lost every starter on both lines. A good year for them would be 6-6 and knocking somebody off toward the end of the year.
