Appreciate the recs but I'd have to be out on that. Five yrs sober and it sucks more every single day.

You don’t have to try anything but I’m sure the temptation would be there so might be best to avoid.

After the year y'all just had? Come on. Kudos on losing to Kentuckys worst basketball team in decades by double digits and still talking shite.

What's a good area to stay in Lexington? Don't care about nightlife just convenience to Keeneland and kroger field. Was looking at maybe the frankfort area ?

Also where's some good grub? Would like a good burger joint .

Damn.. there appears to be more UK fans than Gamecock fans here. Sad.

We actually have a good bit of fans on here, we just don’t use out board because most of our fans use the Rivals site.

Well, Beaumont in Lexington is a mile from Keeneland, but Versailles has a Holiday Inn Express that is new, and is only a few miles away, or I64 in Frankfort has restaurants and hotels that aren't that far away.

Hamburg area has a lot of hotels and restaurants, and is close to Commonwealth.

Both are easy to get to given New Circle Road.

Depending on how long you’re in Louisville, if you’re a baseball fan, The Slugger Museum is worth the walkthrough.

Also have some food reqs for there if you need them.

If anyone in Louisville tells you to go to The Spaghetti Factory restaurant, please punch them in the face for me.

There is a new hotel/development in town called the Orgin Hotel in a new area called The Summit. It’s a great spot with plenty of food options within walking distance to the hotel. It is also very conveniently located for people interested in going to Keeneland and to Kroger field.

I’d second Beaumont. Few hotels with food close by. Low crime rate and a good area. 10 mins from keeneland and 10 minutes from the stadium. That’s with no traffic of course.

I’d at least tell them to check out Porcini’s and tell them Rick sent them.

Thanks hunter. Decided to stay in frankfort. They had a pretty highly reviewed Best Western on chenault for like 80/night which is about the price point I was looking for. A little far from keeneland and kroger but will make for an easier drive back to louisville that Sunday morning to catch an early flight. I appreciate all the good info.

Do u have tickets for the football game yet ?

We get road trip tix through my college buddy who is a season ticket holder. How many do you need I can request as many as we want. We’ve never had a issue getting tickets to away games. I can hook a brother up more than likely.
