I could have sworn we held that title.

What does this mean?
There was an actual law prohibiting stores from placing their beer in a refrigerator?
What is the expected impact?

I look forward to viewing the documentary narrated by Wright Thompson

Now you can keep the party going right away if you run out of beer instead of having to do the old ice and salt trick.

Shep's been reporting on it as well.

Never heard if this law before but it would cut down on people buying beer after work and popping one open on the way home.

I never thought about it like that. I guess it would slow down the people grabbing a cold one for the road home after work. Sucks but actually pretty clever.

How hard did the local bar/restaurant/club lobby fight that?
They spent millions fighting it in Georgia, finally passed last year to be able to sell retail on Sunday. Restaurants piiiiiiiiiiissed.

Gonna be nice. Will help a hangover for sure to have a cold one on Sunday watching NFL

The no beer sale on Sunday never effected me. I kept the fridge packed throughout the week. I always had cold beer on a Sunday.
But it always sucked having to wait for them bitches to get cold. Half of them would always go immediately on ice or in the freezer when I got back to my apartment.

Is it Oxford or Starkville that close the bars early?

I know people are going to hate me for this: I don't like that this got passed. I understand wanting to go out on NFL Sunday, but one day a week without beer is a good thing for Oxford. You can just buy beer the day before. I have a big problem with drinking and driving and this will make it a WHOLE lot easier.

I'm all for gay rights and shite, but whenever I think of Shephard Smith I think of him talking about the Black Bears, and the reports of him railing dudes.

To all of y'all laghing at this ruling, OM has consistently been at top 10 party school as long as I can remember even with these limitations. We're about to need some serious rehabilitation facilities here.
