Wasn't paying the 20 and Roosters was full of parents, but the Corner had penny pitchers tonight, nothing wrong with that.

75% of America doesn't have bars.

I seriously doubt an extra hour or two would have helped you seal the deal with a hot chick. She just didn't give a shite.

Screw Athems. I leave for Auburn in 10 minutes and am so freaking hungover.

No doubt. But when I buy a drink and then immediately have it taken out my hand there's a problem.

True that. Not why I was mad though. I edited to take out the harsh language

It never bothered me very much, we just went to late night at someone's house. Plus I was usually good and shite faced long before closing time.

Don't know what it's like now but in the mid 80's, Athens bars had to quit serving at 1130 on Saturday nights because of the Sunday bullshite. We used to love when the time changed because we could drink an extra hour. Athens is great, but when I was in school there, city council did everything they could to frick with students. They even passe a PUI law which was later found unconstitutional. Yes, that's right, a Pedestrian Under Influence. I guess that meant you could never get drunk and walk outside. Ridiculous.

In the 80's I remember Tuscaloosa had similar Sunday laws, but the bars would also reopen at midnight Sunday night and stay open until 4am or so Monday AM. Starkville bars were closed all Sunday until Monday afternoon, so some State students would drive to Tuscaloosa Sunday nights for the midnight to 4am party.

Yeah dude I feel you. I've had to reevaluate my Oxford homerism after going to Athens last week.
