There are no instances of Georgia winning without a rematch and multiple injuries to Alabama. In the SECCG, Alabama was without 2 or 3 of it's best offensive players.

Georgia's starting QB was injured and UGA was starting a JUCO transfer in that game at QB. Seriously, that is exactly what you are claiming. Is a wide receiver, a position where you have multiples on the field at the same time, more important than a QB? Of course not. UGA had quality depth at QB that was ready to play...Alabama did not have quality depth at WR and they lost....just like almost any team will lose. It happens....it is foundational in football.

The revenue from that bowl game might not be substantial, but it still increases the amount shared.

Teams that turn bowl games down shouldn't get any shared amount.

Golding single-handedly made the Bama defense un-scary, and he’s a drunk driver. A real POS

Actually a great idea. Or at least have their share reduced drastically

I just don’t have the confidence that this team is better off with a three week down time. Last year it was a disappointment losing to Notre Dame like that. Too much time off. Rust rust rust

Does Ole Miss roll this weekend? That’s all that matters

They’ve never won anything before so I guess an expanded playoff game before they get boat raced against a real team would be nice

Texas A&M would be a 9-3 team with pretty much any other SEC schedule. Don’t get me wrong, they’re a good team. They’re just not CFP level good. The CFP will finish the job exposing Aggy that Texas started.

Not convinced this is true.

The first game played is meaningless, a benchmark game. Like in 2021. Kirby and Lanning completely changed the attack scheme they has used all year. They tried to contain your QB and gave him all day to find receivers. In the NC game, they said screw it we are going after their arse aggressively like we did all year except in the SECCG.

This year, UGA defense were young and inexperienced in the first matchup. Playing a bit timid and afraid of missing calls and assignments. They developed all year and by the time they played Texas, they were no longer the inexperienced crew that Bama barely beat early in the year. No, they were full throttle and letting it rip. They got even better the weeks between Texas and Bama re-match.

They beat the frick out of you not because of injuries. We had as many as Bama. They beat Bama down so bad because they were miles better at this point in the season. That defense developed from September to December to elite status. Coaching and better team chemistry.

How good is the backup?

That plays a big role in how equal an injury is.

Again. You idiots think injuries don't matter but only win games vs BAMA when they have key injuries.

Our point is both team have had key injuries in all of these games, so quit crying about them.

If Georgia doesn’t win it this year, they have no hope of calling themselves a dynasty. Which I enjoy.

OU/Bama are not getting past Indiana + Oregon

They would both be double digit underdogs to both of those teams

UGA is the only realistic SEC team to go all the way this year
