LSU doesn't need the Bama game to boost it's resume. UGA fans point to the Bama LOSS as one of the high points of their season. They think that game shows that they belong. LSU fans are ticked off that we lost to Bama. UGA fans are happy that they kept the game close and had a chance to win.

Let me put it this way, I'd pick LSU over each of the other two loss teams if they played next Saturday. When they decide to show up to play they are just better than the other teams.

I know, I watched both games.
LSU reverted to a very conservative gameplan because they had no faith in Mett that early in the year and Auburn's strength on defense was our defensive ends, if anything, that kept them bottled up.
We were playing hard in that game. By the time we played Georgia Auburn had given up completely.
