LSU tops
A& M bottoms

A& M bottoms

We played each of those. UGA was the toughest game for us if we had to have a rematch. LSU does not worry me and A&M even less so. Did not mention SoCar, we did not play them and I have no perspective on where they would be in the TWO loss grouping.

So all 4 teams have 2 losses each....the losses have all been dissected to death in this thread: let's look at the WINS for each team:
TAMU:
SMU: 7-6
SCST(FCS): 5-6
ARK: 4-8
Ole Miss: 6-6
LA Tech: 9-3
AU: 3-9
MSU: 8-4
UA: 12-1
Sam Houston ST. (FCS): 11-3
MO: 5-7
TOTAL: 70-53 (.569)
USC:
VU: 8-4
ECU: 8-5
UAB: 3-9
MO: 5-7
UK: 2-10
UGA: 11-2
UT: 5-7
ARK: 4-8
Woff(FCS): 9-4
CU: 10-2
TOTAL: 65-58 (.529)
LSU:
N. Tex: 4-8
Wash: 7-6
Idaho: 1-11
AU: 3-9
Towson: 7-4
USC: 10-2
TAMU: 10-2
MSU: 8-4
Ole Miss: 6-6
ARK: 4-8
TOTAL: 60-60 (.500)
UGA:
Buff: 4-8
MO: 5-7
FAU: 3-9
VU: 8-4
UT: 5-7
UK: 2-10
UF: 11-1
Ole Miss: 6-6
AU: 3-9
GA South.(FCS): 10-4
GT: 6-7
TOTAL: 63-72 (.467)
One looks at this, and immediately sees why other SEC fans have protested UGA's schedule so much this season. Only one (1) win versus a FBS opponent with dbl digit wins, and only three (3) wins versus opponents (FCS included) with winning records. UGA did have several key defensive players out at the start of the season, but they only played one opponent that knew how to win games until they played their rivalry game versus UF.
TAMU gets credit for the best "quality" win out of the 4 with their win over Bama, but gets demerits for playing two FCS opponents (even though Sam Houston St. IS playing for the FCS national Champ. on Jan. 5th). LSU gets credit for having zero FCS opponents on their schedule, but Idaho might have been blown out by Sam Houston St. had they played them.
Non-FCS wins are as follows:
TAMU: 54-44 (.551)
USC: 56-54 (.509)
LSU: 60-60 (.500)
UGA: 53-68 (.438)
I would rate these teams in this order..
TAMU:

I honestly believe the 2010 South Carolina team that lost five games was a better team than this year's South Carolina squad.
You could make a case, but I don't think so. We didn't have an upset game this year, like against KENT in '10 and we won an additional Reg Season game.

All things considered UGA presents more problems than the other two. Get it?
