Maybe us being yoked in the SEC has dampened the vulgarity and hatred and cruelty between us, I don't know.
Go frick yourself and your longhoe arse.
But no, you're right when we bolted for the SEC and we hade those last couple years in the Big12 and thier passive agressive ways... I think there was a little edge taken off. But I still hate you losers with all that I am.

Best part: The codeword to go for block was “Golden Hat”. They called Golden Hat and every player knew assignment.
Story would have been better if the code word was something like "Monkey" or "Lap Dance"

It’s mutual and I hate you more.

It's still there, though maybe tit's been toned down a little since the birth of the woke culture.
I would say, however, that UT fans have always out-vicioused OU fans on social media. Personally, I have no problem with Texans; they seem to have many of the same values that Oklahomans revere highly. It's those elitist Longhorn minority fans that I can't tolerate.

I was there and following the game, there was a lot of respectful banter between fans. At one point I was in a line for a drink and 3 young ladies needed to get past me so I made room for them to walk in front. They were all dressed in their ou gear and as they passed they saw my longhorn shirt and said sorry for the loss. I said No you aren’t lol. And they said - you’re right we aren’t ??

Before facing Oklahoma, Texas was nearly automatic on 3rd-and-short:
Texas State: 4/4 (100%)
Ohio State: 8/8 (100%)
UTSA: 3/4 (75%) (only miss was a spike to set up FG)
Tennessee: 2/2 (100%)
Before OU
• 3rd & 1-3: 17/18 (94.4%)
• 3rd & 4+: 13/42 (31.0%)
Against OU
• 3rd & 1-3: 1/4 (25.0%)
• 3rd & 4+: 2/10 (20.0%)
That is a massive difference in the situations Texas had been dominating all season.

And you could do OU fans just opposite on each play. What a rollercoaster of emotions for every fan, except OU gets the Golden Hat and victory spoils.
