Looks kind of dry.

Why do so many people freak the frick out over making a cheap cut of meat edible?

There's some marketing genius in there somewhere...

I still think we win that game if Paul Thompson stays in.

To be clear that is Oklahoma's record vs Vanderbilt on the left and texas' record on the right.

Vanderbilt - 2-0-1.....5-8-1

Over 5-2 this year and 2-0 against Barn and 2-0 against your baws Gump the last 2 years straight! Alabama State Champs, two years running! Guess Bammer needs to stop losing to "shitty teams".

Have Oklahoma standards dropped to where 5-2 in conference with no chance for the conference championship game is success worth bragging about? I thought you guys had a championship mentality.

The series is pretty much dead even since WWII.

Texas owns OU in the leather helmet days and before Oklahoma was a State though.

WWII was a watershed period for the state of Oklahoma and Oklahoma football. Troops were returning home from war and Oklahoma still had a stigma on them from the dust bowl exodus out of Oklahoma to anywhere in the country but Oklahoma. The Oklahoma legislature and big cigar guys decided that they needed to do something to improve their self respect and image across the country. The decision was for Oklahoma football to win at any cost, by hook or crook. Major reason why Oklahoma has so many ncaa rules violations, I think only aggy has more major violations.

Anyway, all that is in the past and Oklahoma is a major player in big time college football, and always will be as long as Texas and the DFW Metroplex exists.

They're never going to be Nebraska, and they'll never leave Texas coattails.

Oklahoma won that title in 1974 while on probation. TV ban, no bowl game, still voted champions

Similar to Auburn in 1993 except Auburn wasn’t voted AP champs.

I wonder what was different?

The Georgia loss prevented you from playing in the National Championship game and possibly winning a title.

Yeah the sad thing is Texas had no luck against OU post WW2 so they had to hire a former Sooner to coach their program on beating Bud Wilkinson. He lead them to 3 of their 4 national championships. He was from Hollis, Oklahoma, an All-American, who still holds the interception record at OU. His name is Darrell K Royal and that Sooners name is emblazened on the side of UTerus's ugly stadium.

Texas wouldn't be shite without OU.
