Let's be real if it was in Alabama, Washington, Arizona and some other states with a powerhouse team that was on an OU like run it would be just as packed

Sure! A winning program and winning culture definitely helps and would probably do well anywhere. That's a no-brainer, but are all of those locations going to drop $100M down the road from campus into the best softball facilities in the nation on top of it?

This is why OKC hosts (plus being the Hall of Fame for softball)

It would help the sport more to move it around, there are other facilities that would work as well. And let’s face it, only hardcore fans and parents want to go to the flyover states and use their days off to go to it, sorry. If it goes to different parts of the country, you can draw in different and more fans. Baseball should move around too, all sports.

HoF is meaningless. Knoxville has the ladies bball and they shouldn’t always be host at lame Thompson Boiling.

OU Softball posted this on 19 Feb:

Oklahoma Softball

@OU_Softball
Battled.

Final | BU 4, OU 3

They haven’t lost since. What an amazing streak.

And Jordy Bahl, she was hurt last year in playoffs, so I’m happy for her to be the ace we needed. She scored 2 runs vs FSU and gave up 0 runs pitching. From small town in Nebraska. Her dad is a firefighter. Truly great story and at end of year she was just untouchable.
