OU softball win streak in jeopardy

Louisiana 7 Oklahoma 4. Going into bottom 8th. Both teams have been extremely sloppy.

Actually pretty nuts. Congrats to the Sooners on the streak. Probably all but guarantees they don't lose another game this season.

Normally I would agree. But this team has some holes some of their recent teams didn't. They are still a legitimate threat to win the WCWS and are still the favorite. But it is far from guaranteed with this team.

He wasn't bitching. He seems to be able to watch the team objectively rather than being a fanboy. Again I'll repeat, they are still the favorite to win the WCWS. This team is not on the same level as the last 3 years. To say otherwise is ignorant.

I don’t really care much for softball although I’m sure I would if I had daughters. That being said, regardless of that it was pretty cool to witness greatness and not too mention the head coach teaching her players to be strong women of their faith.

Our pitching is not as good as last year. Losing the best pitcher was huge. They played bad today but they also played bad Fri. This team is great but will lose more games this year. It’s hard to be everyone’s super bowl for 71games in a row, it catches up.
I do think the emotions of the weekend caught up to them. But this is not the same team as last 3 years. I will say, they down 4-2 with 2 outs in B7 and tied to take it extra innings. But more errors cost them again.
71 will never be broken. No shame in that. And at least the pressure is off the streak now.

Dude it’s just softball, calm down. So what, your team lost. Life goes on. How are you going to handle a 5 loss season of SEC football if you are freaking out over one softball game.
