Coach Grinch has exceeded my expectations. Finally able to recruit elite talent all over the defense. He’s recruiting taller more physical cover guys. Improved depth as well. Finally recruiting and winning some battles against SEC elite. Must continue.

You better win more than some of those battles. You're problem in the SEC will be that you recruit better and finish behind 5 SEC each year in the recruiting rankings.

I have a feeling Texas is about to close the state borders on top in state talent like Alabama does. Y'all will have to look elsewhere

The problem is Texas doesn't produce enough SEC caliber defensive linemen/linebackers to go around for OU/A&M/UTA.
The southeast is super fertile there.

Commitments from running backs Treyaun Webb, Gavin Sawchuk, Raleek Brown. They are elite. Eric Gray should have a very nice year as well.

A&M has definitely figured that out. Been recruiting the SE for DL in particular. You can still build a high quality OL in Texas.

Come back when you're signing elite OL/DL classes. RB/WR won't cut it.

I keep track of recruiting and trends going forward. Grinch has done an outstanding job. Had top 20 defense last year and expected to get better each year. Good defense is last step for complete team.
