Home run race totals:

Wells - 29
Grant - 23
Woolery - 21

UCLA plays later this evening, but Grant was staying with Wells for a few weeks, but there is a very noticeable separation now as Wells pushes the lead to 6.

Hate to say it but these records are going to be temporary til Goose Hutchens comes up in 2028.

Wells is a true freshman, she’ll be around awhile. She’s proven and your gal has 2 years before she is in college

Kendall Wells destroys her 30th home run of the season, tying the NCAA single-season record for HRs. Ties Kelly Majam (Hawaii), Lauren Chamberlain and Jocelyn Alo.

Did I see where Oklahoma schedule was one of the weakest in the nation? No wonder they’ve got the stats.

Ranked 108 as of Sunday

What's your source?

According to RPI, they have the 11th toughest schedule to date and the 4th toughest going forward.

Wells has tied the softball D-I record for HR by a freshman in 40 games, 22 fewer games than any other freshman in D-I history

Wells' 30th home run comes in her 40th career game and ties Hawaii's Kelly Majam, as well as former Sooner greats Jocelyn Alo and Lauren Chamberlain with 30 home runs as freshmen. The Bogart, Georgia, native is four home runs away from tying the OU record (34) set by Jocelyn Alo and seven home runs away from the all-time single-season record of 37, set by Arizona's Lauren Espinoza.
