I’m not sure what happened against Houston but it had to be a wake up call.
OU by 20+.
What happened is we've got an O-line that can't block, receivers that can't get open, running backs that can't find holes(if there are any), a new QB that's always played on good teams and probably never been in this position before and doesn't know how to react to it and an OC that refuses to put personnel in that maybe can make a difference, i.e. RB Tatum and QB Hawkins. And I'm including the Temple blow out to this as well, this isn't a 1 game knee jerk. If it wasn't for our D constantly giving the O a short field, that score would've been much lower

This will be a 21 point win and this time next week OU fans will be very confident on beating Tenn
For the record I think they are undefeated playing Texas. They should beat Auburn no issue and they match up very well with Tenn

OU fans: Dont you DARE slip up on Saturday and get your azzes knocked out of the rankings right before we come to town.
I believe in you.
Yeah, that fourth string center will have no problems matching up.

Yes. I see a lot of worry warts. OU will get it right. D is there to hold O in check until they get going. They will and it stats Sat.
Our defense has looked great, but they haven't been truly tested yet.
Tulane has some weapons.
Gabe and Teddy break it down very well on their latest podcast.

Last years Tulane team would beat this years by 24. Yall will handle this game no problem

They can be critical at times. Gabe expressed anger toward the lineman who took his helmet off near the end of the Houston game, thereby stopping the clock when we really needed the clock to run.
In this case, they weren't being negative toward OU, they were saying that Tulane has some weapons on offense that we cannot overlook.

I know I should hate you, as you're an OU fan.
But for some reason (boobs) I always seem to look forward to (boobs) your posts (boobs).

OUs starting center and the rest of the OL starters are expected back for Tulane or by the TN game. Most have been held out as precautionary. The OL when healthy is good, not elite but good. OU will lean on the Defense just as Venables and the good lord intended. I don’t think it was ever realistic to expect OU to have an elite offense this season. The entire OL was replaced, both leading WRs were injured coming into the season and have not played meaningful snaps yet, a QB who has insane talent but zero experience, it was just never a recipe for an elite offense like we are used to seeing. That being said the defense looks truly elite and that has been BVs focus since coming to OU. The two deep on defensive side of the ball could legitimately start all over the P4.

This year's Tulane QB will probably be playing for LSU or some other SEC team next year

The heat is of more concern, its a 2:30 game
All these worry warts and we haven’t even played any of the 6 ranked SEC teams yet. All I can say is buckle up buttercup, its going to be a bumpy ride. If we can win 3 of 6 vs ranked, I’ll consider it a good season. Too early to panic and worry.
Just enjoy the football season! And new teams/venues/traditions. Win or lose its going to be fantastic!!

Hate is an awfully strong emotion for a fan of a sports opponent.
For the record, I always thought Heupel would be the coach to follow Bob Stoops at OU until he was unceremoniously, and undeservedly, let go.
I'm a fan of Heupel, a fan of Nico, and a fan of the Vols as long as Heupel remains there. I hope your team beats everyone except us. And if you do beat us, then I hope you win it all.
Did you know that Nico and Jackson Arnold were born on the exact same day? Pretty odd coincidence, no?
