Who cares what O said? It’s no big secret Max Johnson is the future and that’s nothing against Myles Brennan either. Myles is damn talented and has twice the arm that Max does but Max has that dog in him like Burrow did. The last two games against Florida and Ole Miss he rallied the team when they were at their lowest. He’s a winner. Myles will be starting for a power 5 this year, MS State would be my guess.

Disagree.

The Florida win had more to do with the defense giving up less points than they did in either of Myles' losses and LSU loses the Ole Miss game if Ole Miss doesn't turn the ball over 6 times.

Max played great all things considered, but the playcalling was much more limited with him in the game.

Max gets a lot of love from LSU fans because of recency bias plus he won those two games but Myles was the better quarterback in 2020.

Negative. There’s a difference between having a better arm and being a better QB. Myles has an NFL arm but Max is a winner and he is the reason we beat Florida. The players got before got behind him and were playing their asses off for him. Max feels pressure and doesn’t panic. When Myles was pressured he would get gun shy or he would roll out of a clean pocket when he didn’t have to. Again I’m not knocking Myles, it’s just Max is the guy.

Nah.

The reason we beat Florida was because we only gave up 34 instead of 44 or 45.

Myles was graded as one of the best quarterbacks in the country last year under pressure.

He was just constantly pressured because of a lack of experience along the offensive line.

It got a little better toward the end of the year.

With them returning all five starters (including that huge bastard Deculus, who seems to have been there for seven years ), I think there's a good chance that LSU has the best OL in the conference, at least going into the season.

I don't know, they were pretty bad in spots last year and lost Dare too.

Not a lot of depth.

I actually forgot about DR.

Still, no doubt a lot to work on, but certainly more experienced.

I honestly think they'll be pretty solid.

LSU should be solid on the O-line this, played better later in the season.
