Oregon +17.5 vs UGA in the "neutral site" opener

3:30 (all times Eastern as God intended) at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on September 3rd.
UGA's former DC is Oregon's new HC. Lanning knows the playbook backwards and forwards at UGA, he's got dossier's on every player's strengths and weaknesses.
Oregon's presumed starting QB is former Heisman Trophy Candidate from Auburn, Bo Nix.
I might take the Ducks and the points on this one.

Ducks and the points.
However if you’re a UGA fan why would you bet against your team spread or not? Just don’t bet on the game!?

I would have loved the match up with Cristobal still there. It's soured a bit in terms of watchability for me with Lanning taking over.
I don't think it ends up all that competitive with Bo at QB and a new staff. I could be totally wrong though.

Because if UGA loses, I still win money to wipe my tears with.
Because if UGA wins, but doesn't blow them out, I get money.
And if UGA wins by 30, I'm happy enough that I don't care about the lost money.
Are you new at this?

The day the Big Red Anus has more non UGA fans in it to consider it "neutral" will possibly after I am dead and gone.
Take UGA to win at home.

Not new at all. I know people who do this as well and I tell them how dumb I think it is lol. 100 other games you could bet on. To each his own.

The words "Bo Nix" and "Heisman Trophy" don't belong in the same sentence.

Sure it does...ex: Bo Nix will not win the Heisman Trophy. See?

Oregon's players are fired up for this game...Lanning knows us through and through...we're lacking a lot of experience...I'm quite nervous about this one.

Oregon players dont have a clue about what they are about to experience. They remind me of Hawaii who was undefeated and heading to the Sugar Bowl to take on Georgia years ago. It was an experience they will never forget. They learned what an SEC blue blood was capable of that night

If you had been a member here before 2021, the subtle joke wouldn't have gone over your head.

Can’t wait. Wish that cincy vs hogs game was at noon instead of 3:30 as well.

Hawaii is no Oregon and vice-versa. While I feel UGA will win this one, I sense it's going to be closer than many are expecting. If we win in a blowout, all the better. But, Oregon's going to be fighting for their player who died and for a lot of pride.
Don't ever underestimate your opponent. Pride goes before a fall and we're no exception.

As Vince Dooley use to say “anyone can beat anyone on any day”. It’s true but the talent differential is just too huge in this one.

Might see a philosophical shift from Kirby:
On the one hand, he’s never run the score up on anyone and you wouldn’t expect him to do so against a former mentee.
On the other hand, everything Kirby does generally ties back to recruiting. And with offensive recruiting lacking of late, he might look to make a statement on the offensive side if he gets a chance.

Dooley was the master at never underestimating even the Sisters of the Poor.
We're loaded with talent....but, there's no substitute for experience and all our talent needs to get this experience fast. Oregon will provide the test.

Y’all really aren’t used to winning anything.
Grow some balls.

It’s one of those lines for me that I like too much it’s fishy. I can’t figure it out, especially when looking at Oregon’s look ahead lines. Favorites or small dogs.
