That may be true but they do have some sisters on the squad
Where they do seem biased is preference for long hair over short hair.
They did list this as requirements to be a member :
To tryout for the co-ed squad, participants attending the recruiting weekend should have the following:
Overall 2.0 GPA
Copy of a current physical
Letter of recommendation from a previous coach/sponsor
Tryouts consist of a fight song, tumbling skills, jumps, stunting skills, and execution of cheering abilities. Requested stunts include the following:
Walk to the top
Ground up liberty
Stretch, double down
Quick toss to the top
Optional- no more than 3 transitions. Example: Double downs, rewinds, full-ups, etc.
Stunt partner(s) are not allowed unless they are also being evaluated for MSU's Spirit Groups. Requested tumbling skills include the following:
Standing tumbling - tuck, back handspring back or any advanced standing tumbling
Toe, touch, tuck
Tumbling pass(es)
