Has anyone even fired one of their NC winners without giving them another decade? CBK knew what he was getting into. Thats why that money is guaranteed.

Only DuBose and Shula have been fired from Bama since 1958.
I am old enough to remember that while Curry was not fired in the technical sense, his home home office being hit with bricks, though I think that was the 1988 season after Auburn maybe. When he lost the 89 Auburn game he figured what was next and left for UK.

There was a contract extension offered to him too. He (and the university in general) were blindsided by how bad the sanctions ended up being.
