tried to tell us what? in a thread pertaining to a man fighting for his life that insensitive dooshbags would show up and make classless remarks such as yours?

Really? Does this really seem like a laughing matter? If you've ever known anyone involved an I situation involving serious head trauma its a nightmare. You can get the best news possible that gives you great reason to be hopeful and their condition can go south instantly. Not fricking funny.

Really sad to hear this. The old part of 6th street is nuts and there are plenty of people walking around that are looking for a fight. I don't know if they were students or not so I will reserve judgement. Terrible situation regardless. Hoping for a recovery.

From reading the police report this sounds more like a punch that landed in the wrong area vs a calculated beat down. Still a sad situation but much different if it was one punch vs a group beating him down. Hopefully he recovers and they find who did this

Im not gonna generalize the Texas fanbase, but I will do so for the city of Austin because I was born and raised there, its full of wannabe gangsters.
A lot of people who like to act hard who came from the burbs.
Anyone remember that real world they shot in Austin like a decade ago?
One of the guys got beat to shite and had to have surgery on his face.

A lot of machismo in that city.

Dude, stop. Not the place for it. I've been to games there and never had a problem.

Can happen anywhere.

Thoughts and prayers for him, his family, and Ole Miss fan base.

At least you're not overgeneralizing a city of 1.3 million people. That would be uncalled for. It's only the 3rd lowest violent crime rate in the country. Full of no good hooligans!

Damn. Sad for both the kid and the families of the people who did this. Can't be good for anybody involved.

Thoughts and Prayers.

Too bad the guy wasn't carrying. That usually takes the starch out of someone real quick.

The color of someone is irrelevant but the bigger they are the larger the target.

Two of their own fans got into a fight almost exactly like this one and a guy died.

I really think alcohol, rather than fandom, is the common denominator.
