Series record: Florida has won the last two games to tie the series at 12-12-1. In the games played in Gainesville, Ole Miss leads 6-4-1.

Eli owned UF

And the Snead led 2008 team gave UF their only loss that season too

Not to mention before spurrier the two programs were pretty on par

Checking the record books: before Spurrier came to Florida, the Gators had never won an SEC title. Ole Miss had won 6, all under John Vaught.

I won’t be surprised AT ALL if Florida beats Ole Miss, and it has nothing to do with Florida…like I said yesterday, OM has losses to two of the sorriest teams in the SEC. We are capable.

Agree with all of this. Think it'll be a game similar to A&M. 40-20 range.

Yeah we won't get blown out of the water like vs Texas and all the guys we had missing, but I expect we will struggle to stay with em. Weird shite happens in college football though.

You are in my age group which makes us rational. Ole Miss can easily blow this. The only good news is an 11:00 am kickoff. Nighttime would doom us. Hopefully the fans are half into the game as well as the Gators. In 2008 we shouldn’t have beaten them. They didn’t take us seriously and it cost them. We need a running game and Dart to be on his game. Field goals won’t cut it.

I think we will have a chance if Lagway is cleared to take off running in this game. We need that to offset that pass rush some.

Please please please do this! One name ought to tell you that it would be a very bad idea.
