Ole Miss vs. Alabama

This game has upset written all over it. As much as I'd like to see Ole Miss sink into the abyss of irrelevance for the rest of this season, I see Oxford being a mad house and a very hostile environment. Freeze will have them fired up, much like Mullen had state, if Bo shows up to play I can see him carving up the Alabama secondary with his talented receivers. Question is, will Alabama show up like LSU did this past Saturday, or will they be ready to play?

I think I'm going to worry about Memphis right now I still barley remember 2003

I think y'all beat memphis but I think it'll be close.
They're actually pretty decent.

I wish that I agreed with you.
I think OM has a bad matchup against Bama -- both in their inability to run the ball and to stop the run. They are not setup to be nor beat a smashmouth football team.
That said, Sims mistakes are coming at some point -- and Oxford seems like the right place for him to face a little adversity.

I live in Memphis and I've followed them for years. They're talented, but Ole Miss will win convincingly. They are already game planning for Alabama. They will be ready.

Ole Miss has a lot going in their favor in this matchup, particularly the location, offensive style, and the fact that the players have never beaten Alabama.
For much of the same reasons, be careful with Memphis. It's going to be hard to focus on them and they will give Ole Miss their best game.

Every team is different every year, throw last year out the window. Saying that, ole miss doesn't have a prayer

Luckily there's not a Manning at quarterback.
Off topic: Did you have the bb yet?

Engie he's had plenty of mistakes and come back and kicked arse. Kiffin's O is so productive UF even forced a few TO's and they got snowed under with points
Bama will be a really tough team to beat this year with or without BS mistakes

Ole Miss will jump around make lots of noise and hang for awhile...then talent will kick in and Bama will beat them down.

If I felt my posts could jynx Ole Miss, I would post more on this site lol. I just think this Alabama team WILL lose at least 2 games this season. Ole Miss on the road seems like a solid candidate for one of those losses.

Wasn't the 2009 Ole Miss game supposed to be a trap for Alabama too?

I don't understand the ole miss confidence against Alabama. This quarterback and this head coach have never had a quality offensive outing. Last year they couldn't put it in the end zone and ended up getting shut out.
I just don't see any reason to believe that this year will be different until they can prove otherwise. Our defense lost CJ but probably improved everywhere else.

That's a positive? What optimism. By that logic there about 100 teams who have a lot going in their favor.

This is not the Ole Miss of 2009, and it sure as hell isn't the '09 Crimson Tide.
