The grove is just a centralized tailgating spot on grass, with an exceedingly high number of hot sluts walking around, and is conveniently located close to the stadium. Perfection in its simplicity

I've only been once, but when I went I thought it was dumb how everyone gets so dressed up and acts like its a some kind of snobby cocktail party. It's definitely not on the level of Tuscaloosa, Baton Rouge, Athens, Gainesville, Auburn, or Columbia

It blows. Tailgated there last week with my family since my little brother goes to ole miss and my older brother goes to Memphis law. We were literally the only people tailgating in the circle that had music.

My brother and sister went to OM so I have tailgated in the Grove many many times. They definitely dress up too nice for my taste, but that would be my only complaint. It's a very unique place to tailgate unlike anywhere else. Beautiful campus, with a lot of beautiful peeps. They have never lost a party at OM

The circle is where all the families with little kids tailgate. The grove still might not have been "turnt up" enough for you but it would have at least had some music.

My feelings as well. I guess it's fun if you know someone that's hosting one of the tailgates, but we walked through the Grove and all 4 of us thought it came off a bit pretentious. We found some more laid back OM fans a couple blocks from the Grove, and they didn't care for the Grove either. To each their own I guess.

The grove was a little better, but it is still weird passing by tailgates and people just sitting in silence.
To me, unlike other people, what saves it is everyone dressing up. Not to mention ole miss women have to be the easiest women in the SEC.

Personally, I hate the grove. Way too many people crammed into a small space.

Might be able to have mud wrestling parties on the grove tomorrow with the rain that went thru.

Have been there twice. A little different but nice. The grove has silver serving trays and cloth napkins and table coverings. It is a place where you hold up your pinkie finger when you sip from your glass, never a cup.

That's the whole point. You either go all in and set up in the grove or circle or you are basically isolated by yourself.

Sorry we all like hanging out with each other.

i personally couldnt care less how pretentious it comes off. It's just way too crammed for my liking. it's not easy to do some of the things i like to do at a tailgate in spots that close to your neighbors.

Having tailgate neighbors is a plus, but you dont have to butt up right next to them.

Tailgating is definitely more enjoyable when you arent isolated. But it also is less enjoyable if you are right on top of each other. The grove just goes way past the scale of having it just right as far as having other tailgates around you.

ha no. i'm talking about setting up very large tents, not the standard 10x10. cooking food on large open flames in propane tanks, playing music (good music..i think at least), having areas to throw a football and games (i dont really do this but people in our tailgate do).

we have tailgate neighbors but still can do all of these things. a lot of these things cant be done in the grove.

plus im not as familiar with the campus as ole miss fans but i have no idea where i'd park two enclosed trailers.

You would pay a small fortune for spots in a parking lot.

Yeah, I love the Quad in Tuscaloosa. There's a ton of people there, but there's still a lot of room to move around, play games, etc. It's easy to find friends and easy to actually get to them. There's so many people in the Grove that you can't move around.

The Quad reminded me of the grove last year about 2 hours before kickoff of the LSU game. Asses to elbows all the way from the bus drop off to Denny Chimes. Could barely even get down the sidewalk.
