My point is, not saying he is better than Russell, but I believe Russell has a year up on Bo, also, with a bum shoulder some of your throws go wacko. But why am I trying to explain this to someone of your great intelligence. Saturday will speak for itself.

That's horrendous at any level.

That's a misleading statistic. I can think of several of his interceptions which weren't his fault at all, such as one against LSU where the ball hit Moncrief's hands only to be deflected into an LSU linebacker.

Oh, and super convenient of you to ignore his eight rushing touchdowns on the year.

The guy is responsible for 2,897 total yards of offense and 23 touchdowns so far this season. That's not "horrendous" by any stretch of the imagination except your own.

He is third in the SEC in both passing yards and total offense per game against SEC teams. He's a good quarterback and you know it. Admit it: you're scared as a motherfricker.

I sure as shite hope not, because it isn't close this year and it wouldn't be close if Bo had another 10 years. You can't even compare the statistics between the two, Russell has like 10 fewer picks on the season. It's like saying given another year in the system Barry Brunetti would have passed up Geno Smith.

Ok. They still happened as a result of the people he plays with.

And all of Russell's are not his fault either.

Against a vastly easier schedule.

Look at how Wallace did against LSU, Texas A&M, etc., then look at how Russell did. Then tell us that "it isn't close."

No we played many of the same teams. I don't think anyone passed on LSU as well as he did all season, he moved the ball against Bama too. The aTm game was the shittiest I've seen us play in a long time but I believe he racked up some yards against them as well. And it isn't close, you are kidding yourself if you think otherwise. You can think that you're going to win, you can make various legitimate arguments comparing our teams, but QB isn't one of them.

Aside from Bo Wallace...

I know, and we played BETTER FOOTBALL against those teams than you did, especially on offense.

bullshite.

Y'all are so hung up on the turnovers.

He has 2800+ yards of offense and 23 touchdowns this year. Russell has just over 2500 yards and the same number of touchdowns.

Yes, Wallace turns the ball over more, but to say that the two can't legitimately be compared is fricking dumb.

Against LSU, Bama, aTm.

Wallace: 3 TD's, 7 INT's, 630 yards
Russell: 2 TD's, 3 INT's, 676 yards

7 INT's?? No thanks. It doesn't help that those were Tyler's worst games, and he played damn well against the best defense of the 3, any LSU fan will tell you that.

Season Stats:
Russell: 21 TD's, 4 INT's, 12 sacks, 2523 yards
Wallace: 14 TD's, 13 INT's, 26 sacks, 2549 yards

Common opponents (excluding LSU, Bama, aTm):
Russell: 7 TD's, 0 INT's, 496 yards
Wallace: 2 TD's, 1 INT's, 504 yards

Like I said, y'all are really hung up on the turnovers.

Y'all are using that as your ammo because you realize that there literally isn't a good argument elsewhere.

Wallace: 14 TD's, 13 INT's, 26 sacks, 2549 yards

How convenient of you to leave out his nine other touchdowns. You know, a quarterback can do more than just throw the ball.

And the sacks is a function of our offense and offensive line. That doesn't have as much to do with the quarterback.

Again, I'm not at all saying that Wallace is better than Russell, but to call him "horrendous" or suggest that such a comparison isn't even warranted is foolish.
