LSU really ran the ball at will...there was a little dry spell in the 3rdqtr, but other than that they had their way running the ball all night

The first half yes. The only thing that stopped us were fumbles by Magee and Fournette.

3rd quarter Ole Miss started rotating guys in on the D-line and the gaping holes that we saw in the first half disappeared. Magee went out with an injury and it looked pretty bleak. Kenny Hilliard picked up the slack and had some HUGE runs on the last TD drive (94 yards, every play but the last was a run).

Our top 3 guys (Magee, Fournette, Hilliard) all ran the ball well. Darrel Williams got a few carries in the 3rd but was bottled up every time.

Melvin Jones at FB also converted a couple of 3rd and shorts.

Best OL performance by far this year.

Beckwith

Our LB play has improved dramatically, which has helped the line and the secondary a bunch.

Absolutely. He and Hunter are crazy talents. Adams will be a star. Rasco is playing better than ever. Fun to watch

Edited to Add Kwon Alexander also. Beast

An inadvertent whistle then an obvious PI that wasn't called in the red zone cost LSU 7. Then, LSU missed the field goal.
Triple whammy. Fournette makes a great run down to the OM 4, but inadvertent whistle nullifies the play. Two plays later, obvious pass interference wasn't called. Player was grabbed well before the ball got there, no call. Then the missed chip shot FG.

Him and Kwon were monsters last night.

Jamal Adams and Rasco came up big as well. Was really impressed with the number of passes we tipped at the line.

I'm looking for a gif of Danielle Hunter blowing up a screen. They didn't show a replay of it unfortunately because of one of the offsetting unsportmanslikes happening after that play.

OleMissmanagement at the end (partly on Bo, partly on Hugh).

I put it all on Bo. Freeze called a great drive to get us into position to kick a field goal. That last play with the interception was ALL on Wallace. He was supposed to roll out and if there was something open on the sideline he was supposed to hit that receiver and they would step out of bounds for an easier field goal attempt. If nothing was there, like there wasn't, he was supposed to throw it away and we attempt the 47 yarder. But no. He decided to take shite into his own hands and it cost us a chance at the game.

I agree the last pass was all Bo (and certainly not what Freeze wanted), but I do think the delay of game prior to it was on Freeze (which created the dilemma to begin with). I also think Freeze should have still kicked the FG from 47...it wasn't a good decision IMO to risk not getting at least a FG Attempt

It was just a chain of events that both freeze and Bo really botched.

With Beckwith in the middle, this is the best LB unit we have fielded in a long time.

Yes. Start to finish. 264 yards rushing.

Fournette with 113. However Magee had his way too with 75 and Hilliard bitch slapped them for 64 on the final 95 yard 4th quarter drive.

That and the quick snap on that 4th down. Those were on Freeze.

Fournette , Hilliard, and Magee all looked very strong at times.

The only snap I recall Williams taking, he was stuffed for a loss. I still like him a lot, he's a true LSU style RB, but he looks like a career 3rd/4th stringer.

Agreed...the 4th down was baffling. I have never understood why teams on SUCH a big play/moment try to go fast like that.... Just huddle, make sure everyone is on the same page and get your best play called.
