He "cost" them the game by donking that miss off the post. Had that gone in, they could kick the FG for the win at the end.

Right. That is why I said he "cost" them the game, implying as it played out.
It was also a bit of a "wow, he's a mere mortal like us" moment as he's been absolutely amazing. I have no doubt he will continue to be an elite kicker and do well in the NFL, etc.
The point is that, if OM could have had the automatic robotron kicker bot that they have had in the other playoff games, they likely win this game as it played out.

The Canes kicker missed one as well. He was also supposed to be a “next level kicker”.
Miami drug their arse all over the field. Their dumbass OC and secondary players, and stupid OL are what kept Ole Miss in the game, and I was rooting for Ole Miss, mainly Bluto (Golding).

Those inches are still the closest Ole Myth came to winning. Would have had an easy walk-off for another win and just missed by that much.
