Maybe but the NCAA giving that kid a 9th year but denying Chambliss shows a clear lack of consistency. The courts are just ensuring they are consistent across the board
An ACL tear and a sore throat aren't the same things.

Rashaun Agee didn't argue a sore throat should equal medical hardship but nice try.
His argument was enrolling as a basketball scholarship athlete at a D1 institution shouldn't have started his eligibility clock... Equally against NCAA rules which requires a lawsuit to circumvent

When Chambliss testified that he was a full participant in practice the entire 2022 season, that would, in a normal universe, completely sink his Petition before the Court. Like I can’t imagine as an attorney having testimony more devastating to my case than that. That just shows how silly all these lawsuits have been and will continue to be now that they’re in state court and in front of judges who have a personal interest in these football programs. Expect something similar in Knox County tomorrow, and Aguilar’s request is just as ridiculous as Chambliss’s

This is the problem with everyone being so short-sighted out of their own self-interest. Is having guys play forever really what you want out of college sports? Because this ruling isn’t just going to benefit your team. It’s going to open the flood gates for everyone to file lawsuits and make up ailments. Apparently all you need is a state court judge and a post-dated letter to show the NCAA acted in bad faith. Is that really what we want? And pretend it’s not your starting QB filing the lawsuit when you answer
Sure, but to argue LSU wouldn't be doing this exact same thing if in this situation is just bad faith. You won't find a single Ole Miss fan who likes how this is all playing out. But why in the world should we be the one to take a stand, at the detriment to our team, when everyone else is filing lawsuits over eligibility.
Keep this race to the bottom going - hopefully it leads to Congress / collective bargaining quicker and it can all get under control.

That’s not true at all. Your eligibility clock starts the minute you enroll in school, not when you start taking live snaps.

The defense calls the doctor who went to Ole Miss Medical School to the stand
This shite is peak Mississippi.
And the NCAA doesn't even call ONE medical expert, but does offer a summation from a female atty from the North.

I'm so tired of these 6th/7th/8th year seniors playing college sports.
There has always been 6th year players due to medical redshirt. Why were you not bitching about that long ago?
