It's actually to LSU's benefit if they do. Because if Ole Miss upsets Miami that's another 10 days LSU's future coaches are still in Oxford and not being able to devote their full attention to recruiting and getting ready for spring practice.
Also, LSU gets to pay Kiffin's bonuses for getting Ole Miss to the playoffs and winning playoff games ;)

Why does everyone forget Miami losing to Louisville at home by 3 ? And on the road to SMU in OT ?

Neither of those teams are as good - by any measure - as Ole Miss. Ole Miss has lost one game ... to Georgia which they just avenged.

Ole Miss has been the more consistent team. Ole Miss has a better win - Georgia - than anything on Miami's schedule. Now ... won't surprise me if Miami wins.

But if I KNEW ? I'd bet it. But I don't. No way to know - there is plenty of doubt either way. And anybody that claims otherwise is a liar. Because if they knew - they wouldn't tell this board for free.

I have no doubt that Miami could play down. That said, that defense is ferocious. Bain and Mesidor are game wreckers.

Miami looks like an old Saban natty team that somehow lost in the regular season. Y’all forget the GOAT won a few natties with teams that lost in the regular season. This Miami team is of that ilk.

Chambliss against that DL is the most intriguing matchup in the next round.

I think so. Because that kid is just big enough to run through an arm tackle. Miami will have to slow down a step to make sure and hit him. Can they slow it down just a touch ?

I don't know. We'll find out. I do know this. Miami thrives when they can play downhill. Most teams do. That's how they got the Pick Six when Ohio St. was trying to do the screen. Miami was still attacking. Playing downhill.

Frankly - I think you play Miami the same way Indiana plays everybody. Duos at the point of attack. Settle for four yards. Five is better. Turns into seven by halftime and ten in the fourth quarter. Can Ole Miss play clean like that ? I don't think so - but that's how you play Miami.

I can't be the only person who sees the similarities between Miami and Georgia.

I think OM wins this game.

Chambliss has a monster day running the football and drives those All American Miami D ends crazy.

Louisville beat them with quick runs inside the tackles. Then some stuff once the DE's started giving up on contain.

But again ... most OCs are not content with giving you a Bob Ross. They've got to paint you a Rembrandt.

When kiffin bolted because Jesus or whatever told him to, Ole miss looked bad, but it was understandable all things considered.....that being said, you look like a little bitch now.

OM might win, might not. Neither outcome will change the sad fact that an LSU fan is now dickriding an ACC team. Embarrassing for a once proud LSU fanbase.

I'm pulling for OM the rest of the way. I like seeing new teams win and I enjoy the schadenfreude of it. Hope I'm wrong but I see Miami winning.

Cristobals problem has been the middle of rhe road ACC teams since he's been here...

This game is not one of those, we are the team that can beat anybody in the country if we play to our potential.

We haven't put it all together for 4 quarters yet, hopefully we're due for one of those
