Not sure your age but I guarantee it sucks way worse now. We lived in Avon when my dad ran a catfish farm out on Muscadine rd 30 years ago. It was a decent town then but it’s awful now. So bad they just finished a bypass from the ms river bridge by the casino that goes around Greenville to Leland so people don’t have to drive through Greenville anymore
The south end of Hwy 1 in Greenville is the only area that’s ok. Along Hwy 82 is a ghost town and downtown and north end of Hwy 1 you better be strapped. The industrial park on north side of town is a sad sad drive of empty factory after empty factory grown up in weeds, and the port of Greenville along lake Ferguson is heading to the same fate
