ole miss only has the most total wins in the SEC because Florida had nothing to play for and didnt throw Singer

Ole Miss makes a thread about their wins in baseball. LSU brings up Aggy. This is sad.

Prior to Holbrook's shite show ... I think we won 40+ games fifteen years in a row or something like that. With several 50 win seasons mixed in there.
LSU has had similar runs.
I called this Ole Miss team as going to be very good this year a few years ago when I saw that AAU American Legion State of Mississippi HS team play and win the championship in Charlotte. 11 players off that team signed with Ole Miss.
Now, the key is to keep it rolling because it will all be mute and forgotten if this team doesn't make it to Omaha.
It's Omaha or bust for LSU, SC, Florida, Vandy and even MSU, A&M and Arkansas to a lesser extent. Welcome to the game Ole Miss.
We all fire coaches who fail to win Supers and send us to Omaha relatively often ... 40 win seasons are not the final goal. Welcome to the game.

I’m just happy for the team. I said it from the beginning, that whether we even make the tourney or not, that it was one of the most fun teams to watch in quite a while. I enjoyed watching them and feeling like they never gave up until the final out. Also a very unselfish team. We have areas that still need to be worked on. Base running has been sloppy and pitching can be off at times. But again it has been fun to watch this team fight all year.
And with saying that, other than the ones up top, no one should want to play SC or State right now. Those two are not going to be an easy out for anyone. Good luck to everyone this week and also in the big tourney.
