I was watching the Ole Miss/Alabama replay on SEC Network the other day and couldn't help but notice a lot of Ole Miss fans(students) in the stands wearing a suit and tie.
Why?
Is a normal polo & dress shorts not good enough for them?

At AU, those are the fraternity pledges.

It's fraternities and pledges, and every school does it. If you ever had any friends or social life this would have been obvious.

They didn't do that shite at my school, although they did make the frat pledges do some pretty gay stuff which lent credence to my theory that a lot of frat guys are closeted homosexuals

i guess OP doesn't know the difference between a suit and blazer with a tie. Sorry you are poor OP. Better luck next time.

What school? Thought it was pretty commonplace throughout the southeast.

Maybe you shouldn't go to a community college then.

TCU, greek life dominates that school but the greeks generally didn't attend football games, they just tailgated the entire time. So I have no idea what they wore, but probably your standard frat douche attire(pastel colored polo or fly fishing shirt, khaki dress shorts, boat shoes, sunglasses with a strap)

May be an SEC-centric thing.

I'm not sure, man. I usually wear a Peyton Manning jersey from 1997 and some jeans/cargo shorts. I don't get the whole dressing up thing.

Better than how the Florida frats dressed. Never forget Florida frat members coming to the fraternity house in 1990 for the Bama/Florida game in Tuscaloosa wearing tank tops with fraternity letters on then along with gold chains and Mullet haircuts. Poor clueless guys almost got laughed out of the house.
