Get a grip folks. Matt Luke had y’all competitive in the wake of sanctions. He was a much better coach than morehead and if y’all gave him time he would have built y’all into a perineal 7-5 team.

This is the problem. The rest of the SEC thinks OM should be a 6-6 team every year. Beat Vandy and win one of Ark and State and lose to everyone else. That is not the expectation. Until you get that out of your head you will not understand OM. 6-6 is not good enough. 4-4 in the SEC most years is the expectation. 6-6,5-7,4-8 is not good enough. Not even close.

In the last 30 years we have as many 8+ years as we have less than 6 win years. It is almost exactly 10/10/10.

I understand fan expectations. But ole miss is at best 4th in the west on a good year. The gap between Bama, LSU, Auburn, and Ole Miss is the grand fricking canyon.
Sure there may be a year here or there where they get hot. But in order to do that you need stability. I’m just saying this as an outside observer but ole miss played hard the last few years. The results may not have been there but I feel strongly that firing Luke was a bad decision.

I get that y’all aren’t very good, but shouldn’t the expectation be better than 4-4? Is that really all that different than 3-5 or even 2-6?

They supported a "preacher"-like coach that was calling escort services. What do you expect? Ole Miss fans are mixed up. They just need to accept who they are.

What makes you think you are good enough for a 4-4 sec record year in and year out?
Ole miss is a doormat. A stat booster. A homecoming cupcake.
