So going into the playoffs with no offensive coaches is a winning strategy? They should have just let Kiffin coach. That was their best season in 60 years and they called the coaches bluff with. The AD is dumb.

I doubt Kiffin's team would leak his demand to coach the team, or he would poach coaches and players.
I think he was trying to look tough for the fans. Take any heat off him and place it on Lane. This may be wrong but it is my take.
