IF there was any real interest from Pruitt or Morris to Ole Miss then it was just the agent blowing smoke.
Neither would have actually taken the job.
Right now, ole miss is clearly the worst job in the SEC. That can change in a few years, but with all the current issues, every other SEC job is more desirable

If either of those guys were interested, they would be your coach.
Now, both of them interviewed with State, who chose Moorhead. Whether the right decision was made remains to be seen. I'm not overly impressed with Morris, but he could turn out okay.
One thing I know for sure....Arkansas and State are elated with their hires. Ole Miss, not so much.
