quote:So you are invoking the school yard "no backsies" rule that once they were done then they are done even after new evidence comes to light. Seems legit. I would go with that if I were you.
Oh wait they did and you totally made up that idea. So the idea that they looked into all that and like Tunsil's attorney said this was dealt with last summer is a possibility

No that is not what I'm saying at all. You said that the NCAA must have just written Miller off as a loon and not believed him. But in reality they believed him enough to open an investigation and suspend a player for 7 games from what they found. Which fits with Tunsil's attorney and his comments that they addressed these text at that time. Now I know you really really want to just ignore that because it is against what you want to have happen but you have nothing to disprove it. So just assume it's a lie because that's what you need with no facts.

You still running around to scared to give any specifics for no reason at all?
Posted on 5/15/16 at 9:02 am to TampaReb
Why would the NCAA still be going around questioning people after NSD? That's not normal operating procedure.
Posted on 5/15/16 at 9:07 am to RT1941
A player said he got money on national tv. Now even if they know about somethings they still have to make sure that is what he was talking about. Same with Ole Miss investigating it you got to follow up on those comments. Just because those specific text were addressed doesn't mean it shouldn't be checked out.

They did it to us after the 2013 class and there is not one report showing anything came of it. But we will see on the 22nd.

Why will they make the rebuttal to the NOA public? It can remain private right? I'd leave the public in the dark for as long as possible.

I'm just going off what Bjork has said and he has stayed consistent about it. He said it would be put out for the public to access on their website after they send it in

Hahaha lol Bjork has indeed said a lot of things. That's why you guys told us there was nothing there to see.

You still haven't give one direct quote of him lying even though you act like it is so easy. But you not backing up what you say is the norm. He has been honest about the investigation since it started. And never said there was nothing to it.
Let me guess your to busy to find the quote right now again?

Got to hand it to you. You certainly are the eternal optimist. I bet when you were a kid, your parents could have wrapped a shoe box full of horse poop and put it under the tree and when you opened it, you would convince yourself you were getting a pony.

Please I'm going off the facts and what people have said that are directly involved in this. Your the one assuming people are lying with the only thing to go off of is you really want him to be lying.
Miller tells NCAA about the western union and other infractions so they go to investigate. Leading to the player missing 7 games with no pay for play involved but we will see on the 22nd. Then someone with direct contact to Tunsil say those text were addressed and nothing came from it. All you can do is say he is lying as a blind wish to keep your hopes alive.

Seems to me your the one with hopes and dreams. You've spent days typing your fingers to the bone, refuting everything in this thread. Over and over.

His suspension was due to "No one can beat a Joe Cannon deal; Nobody!

Bdork did say it was all women's BB and track and field with a few minor infractions from the Nutt era.
Maury Povich determined that was a lie.

Where did he say that he said most of the football infractions were previous staff which was 4 and Tunsil which is 5 so that made up 9 of 13. The Sayders stuff is not minor and never heard him or anyone tied to ole miss say other different. So where did he say that?

Looks like Bjork will be finally getting her revenge on the bear that ate her and made her ride around inside his belly.
After 20+ years, this is a long time coming. Sweet, sweet revenge.
Shoe is on the other foot now, eh?

Unless the released texts were completely changed to say something other than what they do say, ole miss is going to burn. The texts are an admission that there was an ongoing system of payments in place, going through the athletic department. Even if somehow the ncaa knew about this already and were not going to do anything like the ole miss people are desperately hoping, the ncaa is now going to be under enourmous pressure from the media and numerous schools who got hammered for things way more trivial than this to do something drastic to ole miss.

Agreed.
The NCAA is between a rock and a hard place here. If nothing comes of this everyone in the damn country will be screaming "to hell with the NCAA. Lets do away with them."
The incident was far too public for nothing to come of it. Ole Miss is going to be punished. And punished hard.
