You should read a book about college football history. The AP and Coaches poll were only two of many polls during a lot of college football history, teams were picked before bowl games, and there were a lot of regional biases. Also, your team (and fan base) really suck. You just got your arse kicked by a depleted Ole Miss team that is full of Matt Luke players.

Read a book about John Vaught... Hell of a good guy and a great coach. He was cheated out of a couple of poll national championships because he was from Mississippi
