Lane Kiffin said moments ago Ole Miss is having some COVID issues and is not in a good place numbers wise. "We could play the game today," Kiffin said, when asked if the game Saturday at Arkansas is in jeopardy.

Looks like just having a one week buffer isnt going to work

If Ole Miss is having them now, we’ll find out in a week if the COVID parties paid off.

With their implemented contract tracing rule, no chance just having a one week buffer is going to work

Yeah, this is going to be something that rears its head throughout the season. Particularly for teams that are rebuilding. Bama or Georgia can just rotate another 4 star recruit in. Someplace like Missouri or Arkansas where there is a massive talent rebuild/replacement going is really going to be on the ropes if they get hit.

Starting the season so late. Having too many games and not enough of a time buffer to get all postponed games in

We are already only 3 weeks into the season, and the following teams already cant afford to have another game postponed

Vandy
Mizzou
Florida
LSU
and now potentially
Arky
Ole Miss

Not a single one of those teams, or a single one of those teams future opponents can have a covid outbreak or its fricked

Well, the CFP committee didn't move their selection date, so the only other option they had would have been to shorten the season or start the season sooner than they did. The Big 10 is playing 8 straight weeks with no off weeks to get to their title game on 12/19. The Pac12 is doing the same thing but only playing 6 games before their title game. The Big12 didn't build in any "buffer week" but teams have 2 bye weeks. The CFP will be determined on 12/19. When would you have proposed the SEC add an additional buffer week?

Michael Jordan played with the FLU. The FLU is much more deadly to people in their teens and 20s. Covid is not deadly at all to people in their teens and 20s. This is bullshite. You pansies need to grow a pair of balls and quit making this pretend-pandemic into the end of humanity. It's just not.

Exactly why LSU and Florida need to play 10/31. Let’s see if the sec makes the only smart move here.

I seriously wonder how many 20 year old athletes have died, or even gotten sick, from COVID...I'm guessing the numbers are so low that the data doesn't even register...it is shocking how Americans, of all people, continue to grab their ankles for this nonsense...

I am convinced Saban has his REC special agents inflict Covid upon Ole Miss as retribution for Ole Miss offense making Bama’s defense look like arse. This is my belief and I am sticking with it no matter what logical arguments you guys throw at me.
It will be on ESPNs 30 for 30 in 2030

It’s the fault of the sec leadership. They had more balls than the big 10, but they are still very small balls.
