I cannot stand Yancy, but I do have a question: would he really be stupid enough to do this, knowing it wasn't gonna fly? Before you answer with a simple "yes", think about the fact that he would have to know he will probably get fired if this story is proven true.

I was misqioted by him when I was a football recruit. Guy pissed me off because the quote made me look like a liar because it contradicted things I had told other reporters and coaches.

There are plenty of reasons to revoke Yancy's access. He claims that he has people who work to collect quotes from recruits and that he didn't confirm with the recruit in this instance before posting said quote. Either way he's a chucklefrick but not new nor a big deal for Yancy.

This. Them and Mullen were absolutely responsible for the absolute toxicity of this rivalry a few years ago. Those three made bank off the backs of the hatred between two fan bases.

Yes, he would. Apparently you don't know your own guy very well. He has a long history of shite. There have been videos of him interviewing recruits that were taken down too after it was obvious that he was trying to steer them to Ole Miss which violates his job 100%.
Some guy recorded all those videos and saved them to use against him if he ever got investigated or fired etc.
