Florida can match. Irrelevant.

And UF can pay "as much" as well.

When they actually spend BILLIONS let us know. Ole Miss has done great in the portal, better than Florida. Lane would do well with the portal in Gainesville as well. Florida is infintely better in HS talent, and yes, it still matters.

He is a coach, They moved to Oakland to Knoxville to South Florida to Alabama to (insert name of next school here)

True, which is why Florida will likely do everything they can and more to get him.

Careful. If Florda doesnt get Lane, LSU will when we fire Kelly

That has been said about many coaches who were good where they were.

They all bolted for the Big Job when it came calling

These guys are ego driven, they wanna hoist a NC. Not “be good” for their career winning 10 games a season without the hardware

Folks who are so convinced he's leaving have listened to nothing he has actually said over the past couple years. Just go find a single podcast or interview he's done.

It probably wasn't true a couple years ago, but I think he can win a national championship at Ole Miss - and he is significantly closer to doing so - than at any other job he would take. He's already got more money than Davey Crockett and I'm willing to bet Ole Miss will match any offer he gets anywhere else. They haven't tasted this kind of success before and they see the shite show that so many other premier programs are who have had to hire new coaches over the past 5 years.

Again all you’ve mentioned are ego driven reasons. You clearly haven’t listened to anything he has said over the past 2 years. And you certainly don’t have your finger on the pulse of Kiffin and Ole Miss football. Every argument you made is superficial and something someone with no knowledge would throw out.

He’s not some fat arse loser living in a trailer in Florida or Louisiana who thinks money and fame are values to strive for at this point in his life.

Terrible timing this happens before their game with hated rival OU.

If FLA is really willing to pay him, he’s gone. I question that they will do so

He has complete control of the program and can stay in Oxford forever.

Know what he can't do at Ole Miss? Win a National Championship. Do you really think he is satisfied being a champion of life?

Are you really stating a lack of ego is a reason a college football coach would stay at his current school? And holding up Kiffin as an example of this lack of ego?

You have either lost your mind or were born retarded.

Ole Miss is much closer to being a national championship winning program under Lane than Florida has been since Urban left. I'm not sure Ole Miss isn't a better situation to be in than Florida currently.

Lane is literally wringing everything out of that program and their full potential is just being a very good playoff contender.

At Florida, with the right coach the full potential is elite and winning national championships.
