I think it depends on if Ash plays...If he does,

45-31 TX

If not -

31-28 OM

Ole Miss / Texas Score Prediction

Texas defense rebounds from last week's disaster.

45-35 UT

I think UT will bounce back and the players will give maximum effort in front of the home crowd. But I'll be in the stadium (I live in Austin) and the meltdown that would ensue from an Ole Miss win would be delightful to watch.

How do you score a safety with the ball starting on the other 25?

This game is one that is quite interesting to be quite honest. I have a feeling that Texas is in for a rude awakening this Saturday night. BYU got massive amounts of pressure on the QB. Ash gives Texas the option to run and flee the pocket, but if McCoy is the QB, I feel that this game could get out of hand for the Longhorns.

I have no faith that the Texas defense will step up or anything because the receivers from Ole Miss are very good.

I think this is a 41-24 game ole miss.

pick 6 getting fumbled across the opposite goalline, recovered by the offense.

If we get off to a good start, like 10-0/14-0, we could take em behind the woodshed.

However, I firmly believe that we are gonna get their absolute best shot. This is their season - bottom line.

Having said that, If Case "Thank God my last name is" McCoy starts instead of Ash, we better beat the brakes off them.

Change of possession would result in a touch back (if momentum carried the recovering player into the end zone).

31 - 13 Ole Miss. Mack Brown fires his OC after the game.

ok.....

Case McCoy doesn't heed Colt's warming about playing against an SEC Defense, he runs the opposite direction from Nkemdiche and out of the back of the opposite endzone.

I really don't know what to expect in this game.It pretty much comes down with who plays QB for Texas and how Texas comes out playing. If Ash plays I expect something like 38 to 35 Texas. If McCoy plays I expect something like 42 to 24 Ole Miss.If Ole Miss gets up early they can make Texas quit.

we MUST get off to a good start. Don't give them any glimmer of hope.

I want Jeffrey to pop about a 40 yard scamper on the 1st drive and take every bit of wind out of that stadium.

I'm just not impressed with our team and I expect the best shot Texas can give us. They're fighting for their season.

I sure hope I'm wrong though

I think OM loses by 10-14. I can't predict a win until I see it. I'm just a pessimist like that.

Ole Mimss is an offense you don't bring in a new DC to.

Rebs 49
Horns 34

Ole Miss 45
Texas 28

Texas was the Emperor with No Clothes coming in to last week and just got exposed by a mediocre BYU team. They have a terrible defense and a terrible OL with mediocre QB play. About all they have going for them is some decent pass rushers, very good RB's, and a couple of decent WR's (one of which may not play). The Texas crowd will also turn on the home team at the slightest adversity (it's just their thing) and prefer to get back to the tailgate to get drunk.

I was telling people all offseason this Texas team isn't good and that returning a lot of starters who sucked last year doesn't make them better.
