Because they are idiots who don't realize that in all likelihood that is not 14 yr old Mac Jones. Maybe, but likely not. Even if it were, is it really an indication of 22 yr old Mac Jones?
If you haven't watched the worldwide leader in sports over the last week or paid attention, an entire racial bias narrative has formed focused on how Fields is not receiving fair treatment in comparison and evaluation. With Mac Jones being the least mobile of the top group and fastest riser, who happens to be a white player from the south, it isn't surprising that he would be a focal point to try and raise controversy against.
