Maybe Bama should have played their reserves then against an injured, 2-loss and unranked A&M squad.

Please explain how what you just posted makes any sense at all, or is relevant to the thread in any way.

I'm starting to worry about the # of idiots that are headed our way via the Sooners joining the league.

This is how you get to the CFP every year undefeated.

As an OU I’m not going to live or die by whether we get to playoffs. I’m focusing more on recruiting and getting the young players reps. It’ll work itself out.

Do you really believe they are a top 10 team? They will be ranked in the top 10 but would you take okie st. against ND or Ole Miss? I wouldn't and a non big 12 homer probably wouldn't either.

OU is a top 5 team when they get their injured defensive starters back. They should be back for our toughest stretch. If not, at least we’re not Texas!,

Did you NOT pop off about how reserves could be played against Oklahoma? I'm simply making the point that maybe those high-speed Bama reserves could have been useful against that unranked loss you have... Dunno. Just trying to provide as much value as you did to this discussion.

OU fans are thrilled to soon be out of the Big 12. Our confidence comes from our excellent recruiting. We’re starting to win more battles for elite players. We still have room to recruit for 2022 class which is top 10. Throw a few more good players in and we’re top 5. 2023 class is historical so far. We’ll be a consistent top 4 team in the SEC.

And neither did Mizzou (they had a winning record over Bama too) until they joined the conference and were able to play them more frequently.

You've only played them 6 times in 100+ years and have a one game lead. RIP Sooners.

Nov 27 @ Oklahoma St

This will put the kabosh on Okie's playoff dreams this season.

Not sure what that statement has to do with Okie St.

Georgia is the #1 undisputed team in all of CFB and Oklahoma is on your mind. Glad we can entertain you.

They are afraid of what a freshman that looks like cam newton after 1.5 games will do to them by January.

They are categorically not a top 10 team. They're biggest win of the year is Texas, who is just flat out not a good football team masked by an exceptional runningback talent.

Wrong. Oklahoma State beating a 2-loss (at the time) Texas squad is not their best win so far this season. Baylor would be. That's not to say Baylor is a great win, but it says everything about how beating Texas in Austin isn't that big of a deal.

Lol. 3 wins VS Bama.

2 in the early 00s when everyone was doing it.

One in an uninspired meaningless game.

One game of consequence has been played between the two in their history and Bama rolled.

Which is exactly the point I was making?

And if any top 10 team's best win is beating Baylor at home, then that proves my point exactly - categorically not a top 10 team.

It categorically is what it is. Does Michigan state belong in the top 10? We can argue all day about one lost teams, but if you're in a power five conference and have managed to stay unscathed for 7 weeks of football... It categorically is what it is

Does Georgia have a difficult schedule this year? Sure Oklahoma’s schedule is weak but your schedule isn’t really that tough with the SEC being down this year.

Georgia looks really good this year. Best chance to win it all.

You're saying no more 77-0 conference wins?

Damn it!
