Guess I'll bite--if you want to be logically consistent, you should compare us taking Wazzu's OC to Mississippi State taking our OC last year (which directly led to our terrible season this year). I don't remember many OU fans directing indignation at MSU then or now, and so I don't think of our fanbase as hypocritical.

Team A takes OC from Team B. Team B takes OC from Team C. Team B's fans don't react strongly to either move, meaning there's no hypocrisy. That is the logic.
If you're trying to make some reference to how OU is on another level as a program than Wazzu and MSU, then I'd argue that is irrelevant and why should OU fans want our program to hamstring ourselves to be overly nice to a "lesser" program like Wazzu.
