Call it what you will but it’s still a split title officially.

It’s not. The BCS was implemented to install a championship game where a champion would be decided. By your logic many of the past NCAAT winners in basketball are not the undisputed national champions because they didn’t finish #1 in the AP poll, which happens often.

You're a middle of the road SEC team now. Get used to it.

Reliving former glory in low tier conferences is all you have left.

Since WW2, OU is up by 2 games over short whorns. Everything prior was really just the start of football but not reality if what it became.

Dude, I'm responding to the following comment.

Its so fun being a Texas fan , even when i lose to OU im still unphased and happy, knowing we got the head up edge, knowing we beat all the teams like USC and LSU that you cant beat. Knowing we win most our bowl games when you get the statue of liberty in front of whole nation.
Seeing our greats like Vince Young do what he did against USC while Adrian Peterson gets made into a bitch against USC.

In fairness, can you really boast about 1 year’s record?

How many National Championships has Nick Saban won?

7

Every single media outlet in America says this number. This number is ingrained in the minds of every single fan of college football. How can he possibly have 7????

He won his first as coach of LSU in 2003.

That is sort of like how I scratch my head as to how a Texas fan can look at himself in the mirror and take pride in the fact that all but one of their national Championships was won by a coach who is a graduate of OU...

Does that add the Texas national titles to Oklahoma or something?

Stoops went to Iowa and Switzer went to Arkansas, I hope you don’t celebrate their titles. The very best is Wilkinson went to Minnesota…you must be greatly shamed
