Why would the SEC want ANY other program to come in at this point. They already snagged Aggie, the most incredible school with the most scenic campus in all of America. According to themselves.
BTW - those of you who haven't seen the Aggie campus...
Imagine a giant super-collider nuclear plant on the surface of the moon. This is what it looks like when approaching. More like a military base than a college campus. Well, come to think of it, they do have the largest fake Army. Maybe this explains it.

Get Vandy to give up athletics. That's the only way. 16 is enough, and we have our one private school.
Side note: to those folks defending Vandy because they win in baseball, as much as I love college baseball, it doesn't drive the decision making process. Also, the minute the NCAA ends equivalency scholarships and gives baseball a decent number of schollies, Vandy is done as a baseball power. Still, as a charter member, they will never be kicked out, but rather, would have to leave of their own volition.
