Four people died. I don't know their college football allegiance so some of you may, or may not, care.

Smart man including aggy and dirt burglar while leaving out Texas people. Our houses have actual concrete slab foundations that the walls are anchored to, and we never have to check the air pressure on our "foundation". lolz

Walls anchored to a slab foundation? HAHAHAHAHAHA

There is no such thing as a building code or any reinforcement that can stand up to a tornado hit, dipshit.

One of the ones from last night basically dropped down at my house. There was not much tree damage to the SW. Surprised I had no damage to the house because there were trees down everywhere. Kids and wife were scared but we came out unscathed. It was loud as shite then rolled into town and proceeded to frick shite up. They let out school for tomorrow to clean up debris on campus.

Noble words.

Out of curiosity, how were the 70s?

I was an undergrad at SC ... life was good.

Those were the days.

Had a '69 Corvette, red, with saddle leather interior and an 8-track ..... nevermind.

The tornado was a bitch.

And bitches should have never been granted the Right to Vote.

Really really hate to read this.

Not a good way to go. Usually it's the infants and the weak and elderly in tornados ..... and sometimes the really dumb.

God Bless those who lost their lives. Mother Nature can be a real bitch.

Most new construction in tornado areas can withstand all but the strongest tornadoes without being a total loss. Just adding a couple hundred bucks worth or clips and anchors has shown to do wonders for storm resistance.
Also, there hasn’t been a single EF5 rated tornado in the USA for 12 years now though they historically occurred every 2-5 years and often came in clusters.
