LOL. Strong finish to the season OU. Navy is a very respectable team.

It's less that than some seriously questionable calls by the coaching staff. Not taking points when in FG range, going for 2 when the O had been shaky for 3 quarters, etc.

Are you pretending Georgia had something to do with it after getting smoked by 'Bama for the 800th time?

This was a game vs a SERVICE ACADEMY. Even with opt outs blowU should be able to put together a decent team of highly rated recruits chomping at the bit for game action. Navy isn't exactly stacked with 4-5* players.

Over SMU?
Correct

You got dominated by a bad Oklahoma team and lost to Vanderbilt. You don’t have the right to say you would have performed better than anyone in the playoff.

Bama fans will now argue that Navy should have been in the playoffs.

LSU fans will now remember that Brian Kelly is still their coach.

Bama just didn't want to be in Norman that night.

OU people, serious question..

Is this the lowest point in program history, and that includes the late 90's John Blake era?

Lol, Venables is embarassing

As much as I am enjoying watching the collapse going on in Norman, it is nothing like the John Blake 1996/1997 season seasons.

Blake went 7-16 and endured

- 69-7 and 73-21 losses to Nebraska
- a 51-7 loss to A&M
- Lost to Kansas twice including the 54-24 drubbing in 96
